Inspired by 'Comedian', a controversial sculpture by Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan, Representing the possibility of advertisement in the domain of the art world.

The brief was quite broad; there's no solid concept from them except that they want to expand their market into the art world with the help of social media art communities like ART TANK Media. Though it is quite a rare circumstance forr a project to provide a free range of creativity.

Tape and art? That's when I came up with the idea of the idea of parodying the 'Comedian' artwork, which's ironically the sublime of the art world with such a bold presentation. Adding another layer of irony would give a more complex meaning to the brand and the advertisement.

Aside from copywriting, the visual process starts by buying a real banana and scanning it with a tape! (It didn't work.) The process of scanning a 3D object on a scanner might not be convenient. So just a free stock banana photo might work, and a comparison between regular tape and washi tape on the ability to not damage the surface and be suitable for an art piece. Taking serious photos instead of scanning helps enhance the shapes and traits of such tapes. Resulting in surreal ad artwork that provoked a thought on advertisement in the art world.
